Caroline is a School Librarian working in an independent school in Eltham, South East London.  She is also the Chair of CILIP's School Libraries Group. Caroline has worked for over 20 years in both private and state schools and is a passionate advocate for the equality of provision that school libraries bring. She believes that school libraries are vital to the mental health of children, providing a safe space in schools for pupils to turn to in the busy rush of the day.  She reads Young Adult books voraciously so that she can recommend good books to her students (and because she loves them!)
